Been doing a bunch of painting lately + working on holiday ideas… the tag below was made with red gouache. P.S. December starts this week. Holy schnikeeeees.

Letterpress print from the Shelburne Museum Printing Shop. After demonstrating his technique, the printer handed out free samples, including the one below (um, score). Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Vermont next summer (open May-October).

This San Francisco custom stamp is one of my faves. As soon as I saw the ‘LIVE WORK’ sign above the door, I knew this was a home I identified with. The house is painted black, so I created a stamp in which almost the entire thing is inked up. I love how it turned out, but this can get a bit tricky for details over time. Therefore, I created a second, outline-only version as well.
P.S. buzzzzzz.
Those 3 dots above the house are actually bees, as the owner has been keeping bees + making honey on his roof! How rad is that? He is currently writing a survival guide for urban beekeeping. Check it out here on Kickstarter.

Wouldn’t it be nice to just paint over the internet once in awhile?

I don’t know about you, but the only handwritten note I ever received from my principal was on pink paper and said You’re late… again. (We had different ideas of what “being on time” meant). Therefore, I LOVED creating this stationery for my friend Brian, who is probably the coolest (and youngest) school principal around. I pulled inspiration for this set from classic, iconic school pieces such as the desk chair + the most looked at thing in a classroom: the clock.
