Hope you had a great weekend. I am psyched today to share a Valentine’s Day DIY over on Poppytalk. This idea is all about CHOCOLATE. And yes, I ate every single one of the props. (Someone had to). Big thanks to Jan of Poppytalk for including me! Check out the full post here.

P.S. For any locals, I picked up the spice jar + mini scoop at Healthy Living. The hot chocolate + candy bars are my fave Lake Champlain Chocolates, available at a number of retail locations. The wrapping paper + heart punch are from Michael’s in South Burlington.

You guys, the post office is going off right now.

P.S. Happy 21, Grace!

I am partial to brown kraft paper (for pretty much everything), but I gotta admit… this ticking stripe paper is calling my name. It’s one of my fave fabric patterns so I stopped in my tracks when I saw it as gift wrap. I love that it doesn’t scream HOLIDAY! and can be used year-round. It is made by Design/Focus and I found it at Michael’s. I can’t seem to find it online so if anyone has a source, please let me know!*

*Update: Thanks to reader, Farrah - I now have more info on the wrapping paper. It is part of the Mary Lake-Thompson gift wrap collection at Michael’s. Still no luck finding a place to buy it online, but hopefully this helps you find it quicker in the store. Thank you, Farrah.

Been doing a bunch of painting lately + working on holiday ideas… the tag below was made with red gouache. P.S. December starts this week. Holy schnikeeeees.

I L.O.V.E. color but sometimes you just can’t beat good old B + W.

Graduation season is upon us. I was psyched to design these invites & favors for Maddy’s high school grad party. Inspired by her school’s crest, I created a personalized take on the classic icon. The sunglasses have gotta be my fave part. Guests can cut out the shades and wear them around… a nod to Maddy and her love of wearing any & all glasses (I’ve got the pics to prove it). Congrats, Maddy!

Heading out on a road trip today to NYC for my sister’s graduation. Really psyched to spend a whole week there celebrating with family, exploring the city, and getting inspired. I usually come back from New York exploding with ideas (and a severe case of fashion envy). Here are some of the essentials I am packing…

1. spring bag

2. (rain) hat

3. fave jeans

4. sister’s gift (do not forget)

5. sketch + note-taking supplies

See you tomorrow!
