The guest blog-athon continues! Today on Oh So Beautiful Paper, I am sharing the wedding invitations and day of paper goods I designed for Krysta + Brian. This is definitely one of my favorite projects of the year. Not only was it diverse in media (ink, watercolor, and charcoal), but it was also an excuse to play with pattern. It’s been one helluva scorcher this week. I don’t know about you, but I’m not meant for these temps (you don’t exactly move to Vermont for the warm weather). In defense of the heat wave, I’ve added two new summer cards to the shop. Both were originally hand-painted using gouache. Take these to the beach, crack open a cold one, and get caught up on your correspondence already. The waves card is blank inside so you can add your own sentiments. The thank you is perfect for summer weddings + showers or anytime you need to send some gratitude. The waves are also available in a 10” x 8” art print. Check them out here!

Hope you all have a fun + relaxing holiday weekend. I’m hoping to do some exploring and enjoy some of my favorite Vermont towns and places over the next few days. The Vermont City Marathon is in Burlington on Sunday - I love how alive the city becomes. Good luck to all the runners! And cheers to the start of SUMMER!

…And I’m off! I will be traveling over the next 10 days so the blog will be a bit quiet. I will be in Austria, Germany, maybe Switzerland, and hopefully Prague, too! (we are still working on the itinerary). I am really looking forward to some adventures + fresh perspective. Will hopefully come across some great design + paper finds to share with you as well!
