I was delighted to create this custom stamp for a couple who is getting married this fall. Their ceremony will take place under a tree in a beautiful wooded park, with their reception moving to an artist studio on the grounds afterward (sounds amazing!). The hand-lettering is clean + slightly bold to reflect the industrial studio, while the ring of leaves represents the nature surrounding them. The stamp is sized to work on a variety of pieces - envelopes, favor tags, thank you cards, etc. Keeping it free of the wedding date or location means it can be used for years to come, too. Congrats P & L!

P.S. I had a lot of fun with this one so I am considering designing a few customizable logo stamps to add to the shop one day… stay tuned!

The latest custom home stamp is for a lovely customer whom I got to know a bit through our correspondence. While working on her stamp, she happened to be traveling home from a trip to Germany just as I was going there. I believe that’s what the Germans would call a “glucklicher zufall.” I have Keri to thank for her generous (not to mention spot-on) Munich recommendations, including the amazing Manufactum shop that I posted about here and here.

*Please note that the address has been removed from the photos for the sake of privacy. (I will be doing this for all home stamps from now on). Custom home stamps usually include a full mailing address, with names being optional. For more information, please check out the shop. Thank you!

Just posted my new birthday rubber stamp to the shop! I am really excited about this product + think you will find it quite handy. It’s the perfect little stamp to create your own birthday cards, custom wrapping, party favors, + decor. Every day is someone’s birthday and as the scouts say… BE PREPARED!

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Below is a custom logo stamp I created for the lovely Leigh Wetterau, a Philadelphia-based wedding photographer. I love the versatility a stamp offers, especially when it comes to branding. Anything that is stamped - whether it is a package, an invoice, or a thank you note - becomes instantly personal. I had so much fun on this one! Check out Leigh’s beautiful work here.

This custom home stamp was particularly fun to illustrate - it’s the home of my aunt + uncle in Brooklyn! Also, the place where my four cousins grew up. I love the architecture of this house - charming and inviting from the street, yet on a long, deep lot. The kind of home that unfolds itself before you, one room at a time.

Toto, we’re not in Vermont anymore. I mean, look at that foliage. Had fun creating a custom home stamp for this beautiful California home. Spanish roof tiles, curved windows, palm trees, + other exotic plants I’ll never know the names of… California living is looking pretty good. (Besides the fact that it’s 19 degrees right now).

Just wrapped up this custom home stamp for a lovely home in Ohio. This was a gift from one sister to another… as someone with 3 sisters, I am backing that! I really enjoy working with clients to figure out what the essence of each house is - which details to highlight to make it truly feel like home. In this case, it was all about the texture. The house has wood planks on the bottom and wood shingles on top. Extra details were added to capture those unique qualities… I am psyched with how it turned out!

The latest custom home stamp features a gorgeous family home in Massachusetts. This one was a gift to the customer’s parents for Christmas - love that! My fave details are the lanterns flanking the front door and the flag on the far right of the house. Classic.

One of my fave things about creating custom home stamps is hearing the stories behind the homes + the people that inhabit them. The latest stamp is for a pair of newlyweds who just bought a home and are starting their lives together… How exciting is that?!

This San Francisco custom home stamp is one of my faves. As soon as I saw the ‘LIVE WORK’ sign above the door, I knew this was a home I identified with. The house is painted black, so I created a stamp in which almost the entire thing is inked up. I love how it turned out, but this can get a bit tricky for details over time. Therefore, I created a second, outline-only version as well.

P.S. buzzzzzz.
Those 3 dots above the house are actually bees, as the owner has been keeping bees + making honey on his roof! How rad is that? He is currently writing a survival guide for urban beekeeping. Check it out here on Kickstarter.
