Another find from my trip to East Barre, VT a few weeks ago… These numbers came in a set (about ten of each) and were used to show prices in an old shop. I love their varsity-style type; they remind me of those classic manual scoreboards… I believe Fenway Park .

Found this box of staples in my great aunt’s desk over the weekend… proving yet again, old school packaging rules.
Made in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. U.S.A.

I’m trying to imagine a time when mailing addresses were so simple… no number, no street name, no zip code. “Hey, send this to the pottery company. Yeah, the one in Trenton.”
Have a great weekend.

If there’s one thing you can count on in Vermont, it’s that on your way to anywhere there is an antique store. Picked this up in on my way back from the die-cutter’s shop this am. Found a few other gems that I will be sharing in the coming weeks… jaaackpot!
Basketball ticket from World War I era (1917). Simplicity rules.
