Hope everyone had a great weekend! It’s getting a bit crazy-town around here at SH/Co. It seems like every day this studio is getting a lil more crowded and I am in need of a lil more storage! Scored these old cubbies at an antique store. Spied them on Saturday, had the will power to walk away, then went back on Sunday (who am I kidding). I figure if I can’t get something out of my head for 24 hours, that’s a sign. I am already feeling the positive effects of this purchase… all of the twine + ribbons + bits + bobs that were getting lost are now at my finger tips. Relief! Now onto those deadlines…
In other Organizing News (I know, ridiculous), one of my photos was featured on this weekend! I adore that blog so I was mildly freaking out. Thanks, Austin!

I realized one thing (again) this morning: they don’t call ‘em deadlines for nothing. On the home stretch for a big hand hand type assignment… Super excited about it but realizing I can’t pull ye olde college all-nighter like I used to. One reason to crawl outta bed this am: my studio is featured on Brooklyn Bride today! So honored. Huge thanks to Vané! Check it out here.
Above are some sketches for the aforementioned type project. Will be able to share the final results later this summer… For now, Back. To. Work.

Soooo excited and honored to have my home & studio featured on Poppytalk today! I have lived in my place since last July and have really enjoyed making it my own ever since. The studio is in a turret and the apt. has lots of crazy angles… including a 3/4 door leading to the bedroom. (One bonus of being short: no ducking). I really love calling this place home… and office. Check it out here. Thank you so much, Jan!

On this last day of March (wow, what a month!), I thought I would share a few photos of what’s going on at the studio. Might be a feature for the last day of every month from now on… a photographic state of the state! Wall-o-Inspiration New Shelves (so pumped about these!) Thanks, Pf.

Thanks to everyone for reading this past month. Special thanks to Caroline of Sunday Evening for the awesome feature on her blog today! So honored! Check it out here. On to April… Photos by AB
A sneak peek of Scout’s Honor Co. “headquarters.” This is where all the magic happens! It has been really fun to transform my living space into a working studio over the past few months. Four sawhorses (in SH/Co. yellow, no less) and some wood make for a large and cheap work station. Having designated areas for painting, xacto-ing, and computing is very exciting. The windows are my favorite part…especially on a snowy day like today!
