My favorite part of Girl Scout camp came at night when we would cover the other troop’s cabin in toilet paper… That and the talent show where we remixed “Ice Ice Baby” to be “Girl Scout Baby.” No joke. Fast forward 20 years and here is the camp inspired collection I am working on… printed on thicker paper than the aforementioned 2-ply. Stationery by SH/Co. Photos by AB
Super excited today as Scout’s Honor Co. was featured on Poppytalk! So honored! Huge thanks to Jan. This made my day/week/month. Check it out here.
And to answer Poppytalk’s inquiry - yes, I am working on my online shop! Can’t wait to share that soon. Please stay tuned…

It was supposed to be 80 and sunny here today in BTV, but the gray skies and rain are saying otherwise (good for Monday morning ambition, I guess). In honor of this almost sunny day, here’s a sneak peek of some beach inspired pieces I am working on. Each part of Melanie & James’ wedding set will feature a custom illustration created with ink & gouache. Photos by AB

Hashing out some hand type ideas on the chalkboard… going to be sharing these from time to time. Photo by AB
As snowboarding season comes to a close here in VT (wait, maybe not - it’s snowing again as I type this!), I wanted to share this vintage lift ticket book. The coupons inside provide access to the Mt. Mansfield & Spruce Peak chair lifts in Stowe (my home mountain). It is one of the coolest lil pieces of mountain design I have seen… big thanks to Katie & Taivo for loaning it from their collection. I especially love how it fits in so nicely with the SH/Co. palette & branding. Might inspire a book of postcards or gift tags one day (perforated sheets & all). Photos by AB
Inspired by my collection of vintage pennants, I decided to create one for Scout’s Honor Co. I did not take on sewing just yet but glue seemed to do the trick. I would love to make a whole series of these one day.

I received some Japanese washi masking tape from my sister and am wondering what I did beforehand. It comes in great colors & patterns (I am partial to the stripes), is semi-translucent, and can be removed easily. I was making some gift tags over the weekend for a friend and started experimenting. It is a great way to work with color & pattern minus the computer. I love that the stripes instantly look like birthday candles.

Inspired by a vintage grain sack that I received for my bday (thanks, Mom!) I have been playing around with the colors red & tan. I really like the way the rich, warm red pops against the natural colors & materials. Stationery by SH/Co. Photos by AB
