Just wrapped up Ana + Aaron’s wedding invites today! Super excited about this set - it’s all hand type and illustration against a palette of ivory, black, and kraft. Below is a sneak peek of their envelopes + the entire job ready for shipment.

P.S. I am a bit behind on photographing a few other weddings that I recently designed… excited to get those shot + share ‘em with you soon.

Heading into the weekend… before I do, I would like to send a huge congratulations to Jessika + Brian who are getting married this Sunday! Some of my fave Genevans will be on the scene and I am sure there will be lots of stories. I was lucky enough to design their invites + menus which I will be sharing soon… Here is a sneak peek of a gingham pattern that I painted for their reply card.

Have a great weekend!

Sooo honored to have my paper goods featured on 100 Layer Cake today! It’s not everyday that you get the chance to work with a close friend in preparing for her wedding. My experience with Melanie over the past year was incredible and one that I miss dearly already (emailing your bud a dozen times a day about paper? sign me up). And the wedding itself - don’t even get me started! The photographer, Tania Lezak, captured the beautiful day so perfectly.
HUGE thanks to Jillian, Kristina, + Amanda of 100 LC for the thoughtful feature, Tania + Dustin for their amazing photos and attention to detail, Judy Markham for her talent and collaboration (Judy was the awesome florist)… and, of course, Melanie + James for being the best clients and friends a girl can ask for.
Check out the feature here.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It’s a big week here in the studio with lots of things wrapping up and coming back from the printer (yessss). First up: the table numbers for Melanie + James’ wedding. These will serve as bases for vellum wrapped candles on each table. Totally unexpected but I love how they form a rad pattern when stacked together (photo No. 2). Future stationery idea!

Check out other finished pieces from M + J’s wedding here and here.

It’s been one of those highly choreographed afternoons (choreographed is a nice way of saying “this schedule is so tight, nothing can go wrong”). But alas, it’s 5:30 and I am back from the post office, deadline met. Whew. Psyched to say that M + J’s favor tags + wish tree cards are out the door… On their way to the shore for a weekend of trimming, hole punching, and gluing by the bride, groom, and family. Below is a peek of the final pieces, pre-trim (those rando triangles are getting cut off).

To see more of those hand-painted stripes, check out their save the date here.
P.S. Big thanks to my printer; you guys rule.

My apologies for the super late post today… the last 24 hours have been a whirlwind of wedding stationery crazy-town! Been busy hand-addressing 125 outer & inner envelopes and preparing Melanie & James’ invites for shipment to Boston. (At press time, they are officially out the door, yo). Psyched for Melanie to receive the box at work tomorrow. She and James have quite the weekend ahead of them - it’s gonna be a stuffing & stamping extravaganza. Below is glimpse of the turquoise storm that just blew through here…

It’s not Friday yet but it sure feels like it. I’m going out for a celebratory beer. See you tomorrow.
