I started this blog one year ago today - January 24, 2011. I was still working full-time at my old job, but was setting up the studio + forming a plan, one sketch at a time. I had no idea what it would become - still don’t actually. But I do recall that first post as Scout’s Honor Co. and how it all just felt right. I am reposting the first image… fittingly it’s an illustration of crayons. A reminder to stick to the basics: draw without reservation, create, have fun. Thanks for following along this first year. Here’s to (hopefully) many more.
I am SOexcited to announce that the shop is open! This dream has been a long time coming + I am thrilled to finally share my products with you. Starting out small - a few holiday + winter goods along with some of my everyday faves. Looking forward to building and evolving things over time. HUGE thanks to all of you for following the blog, your kind words, and overall amazing support. So, without further ado… SHOP!
The biggest, most heartfelt thanks to Mallory + the crew at NYLON for featuring SH/Co. in this month’s Culture Club section. I am obsessed with magazines and an avid reader of NYLON for years… Even though it’s been a few weeks, I still can’t wrap my head around seeing my work in a mag. Seriously? I mean, for realz?! The October issue will be out for a couple more weeks so if you happen to see it, turn to page 131 and know that I will be forever grateful.
P.S. The feature announces that I will be launching my online shop this fall… I know, I know! Working hard on it! Can’t wait to finally share the goods with you.
