Toto, we’re not in Vermont anymore. I mean, look at that foliage. Had fun creating a custom home stamp for this beautiful California home. Spanish roof tiles, curved windows, palm trees, + other exotic plants I’ll never know the names of… California living is looking pretty good. (Besides the fact that it’s 19 degrees right now).

Just wrapped up this custom home stamp for a lovely home in Ohio. This was a gift from one sister to another… as someone with 3 sisters, I am backing that! I really enjoy working with clients to figure out what the essence of each house is - which details to highlight to make it truly feel like home. In this case, it was all about the texture. The house has wood planks on the bottom and wood shingles on top. Extra details were added to capture those unique qualities… I am psyched with how it turned out!

The latest custom home stamp features a gorgeous family home in Massachusetts. This one was a gift to the customer’s parents for Christmas - love that! My fave details are the lanterns flanking the front door and the flag on the far right of the house. Classic.

Hope everyone had a great holiday. After a few days off, I am back in the studio and psyched to dive into the work ahead. Before we kick off the new year, I wanted to share another custom card I created this season. The holidays are busy and stressful enough so add moving into a new home on top of that, and WHOA… impressive! So excited for Kate + Ryan and their new digs. The inside of the card features their new address along with a Christmas message. Congrats, K + R!

Thanks to everyone for making 2011 a great first year. Cheers to 2012 + all the adventures ahead! Happy New Year.

Loved designing these custom holiday cards for my friends (the couple from this amazing wedding). M + J live in Boston so I couldn’t resist giving the infamous Citgo sign a lil holiday makeover. This card brings back memories for me, too, as M + I went to BU and must have walked by this sign a gajillion times during our four years there (it sits atop the bookstore in Kenmore Square). Happy Holidays from Boston!

P.S. Go Terriers.

Beyond thrilled to design these baby announcements for my new niece, Eleanor. She is the daughter of my sister, B + her husband, D. Eleanor is also my family’s first grandchild… Needless to say, she is rocking our world in the best way possible! I’m keeping photos tucked away for now, but trust me - it doesn’t get any cuter than her. (She must get it from her aunt, right??) I also designed her baby shower invites over the summer… check them out here + here.

Place cards from Ana + Aaron’s South Carolina wedding. Hand-lettered table numbers, scanned + printed on thick kraft stock (with space at top for each guest’s name).

More from their wedding here + here.
P.S. THE SHOP is coming soon! I really mean it this time. Stay tuned!

One of my fave things about creating custom home stamps is hearing the stories behind the homes + the people that inhabit them. The latest stamp is for a pair of newlyweds who just bought a home and are starting their lives together… How exciting is that?!

This San Francisco custom home stamp is one of my faves. As soon as I saw the ‘LIVE WORK’ sign above the door, I knew this was a home I identified with. The house is painted black, so I created a stamp in which almost the entire thing is inked up. I love how it turned out, but this can get a bit tricky for details over time. Therefore, I created a second, outline-only version as well.

P.S. buzzzzzz.
Those 3 dots above the house are actually bees, as the owner has been keeping bees + making honey on his roof! How rad is that? He is currently writing a survival guide for urban beekeeping. Check it out here on Kickstarter.
