Big thanks to Nicole of Scarlet & Sterling for introducing me to this Swedish Dream Sea Salt Soap. I mean, how perfect is this packaging?! And once opened, how beautiful is the soap itself? This would make a great favor or welcome gift for a seaside wedding or event. I think the original packaging is amazing, but if you wanted to personalize it, a simple cotton bag + anchor stamp would do the trick. Soap available here and anchor stamp found here.

A few more finds from Manufactum in Munich, Germany… I am a big fan of chalk and white charcoal pencils, so I instantly gravitated towards these. Love the timeless packaging and bright orange + green colors. The bottom pic is not actually chalk (they are ink cartridges) but I couldn’t resist that type!

Love the navy + kraft combination of this old packaging. The perforation puts it over the top — simple and perfect.

I am a big fan of packaging in general but I especially love when it does all the work for you. As in, no extra wrapping required. Spotted this type-heavy, pine green packaging and couldn’t resist it for ye olde stocking. Just add twine.

Buy them online here. They come in all kinds of magical colors (the turquoise is my other fave).

Found this box of staples in my great aunt’s desk over the weekend… proving yet again, old school packaging rules

Made in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. U.S.A.

If you told me this was packaging for RL Rugby cuff links, I would believe you (stripes, wreath, collegiate colors, check). Instead, it’s just a box for an old radio part. Seriously. They just don’t make packaging like they used to. Long live the classic.

Thanks to Evan for this great find.

You just can’t beat vintage packaging. Found this old school box of paper clips at my great aunt’s house over the weekend. I love everything about it… Clean, simple, + totally free of gloss or gradients. Ahhh, times have changed
